Morteza has been a professional tailor and dressmaker since 1999, specialising in clothing alterations in Kent and Gloucestershire since 2009. During this time, he managed the Alteration shop in Gloucester for over 4 years. and Goldstitch in Worcester for over a decade.
It was in May 2014 that Morteza opened his own shop in the centre of Worcester. They expertly alter all types of garments—from suits and wedding dresses to leather jackets and curtains. The team also create made-to-measure garments upon request.
Morteza and his team strive to provide excellent quality work within timeframes that will delight their customers.
Morteza’s career focus shifted after working in alterations. While he originally enjoyed creating new clothes, h recognized that UK customers needed a reliable alteration shop. That inspired him to specialize in alterations and repairs, helping people save their beloved clothes that either need fixing or don’t fit perfectly.
Thanks to the rapid growth of the tailoring and alteration business, Morteza now lead an exceptional team. Each staff member brings years of experience in garment alterations and repairs of all kinds. The need for a second shop in Worcester become apparent. Tailor Shop on St. Swithin’s Street.
